A TRIBUTE TO SAM FRANCIS

Inspired by the art work of abstract American painter Sam Francis I painted 3 tribute pieces.  The first two were created in gestural madness and the last piece was hand painted and then edited in Adobe Photoshop CS5.  Francis, was inspired by the work of abstract expressionists such as Mark Rothko, Arshile Gorky and Clyfford Still  Francis began his career in Paris in the 1950s.  He passed in 1994 leaving behind a creative legacy.
