I don't like it but they're back: the dreaded scrunchie. Just the name makes me shutter. Scrunchie. SCRUNCHIE! Urban's doing it, American Apparel's doing it, you can even find them on the runway.  A crumpled up scrap of fabric, left over fabric wrapped around elastic that you wear in your hair.  I guess it's cool if you're going green or you're into not being wasteful, but really it's not cool at all. Scrunchies should be banned.

Clothes Encounters

If you have not heard of this dynamic duo, you're in for a treat. These two babes have some of the most incredible vintage/thrifted wardrobes I have ever seen. They have an awesome youtube channel where they post weekly videos on all things fashion. Everything from their favorite thrift stores in LA, to fashion tips.  Not to mention they have insanely good musical taste which is featured throughout their video series. Damn....remember in the 90s when box braids were the new black.  Brandy (along with a myriad of others) rocked them like they were going outta style. Fortunately they're coming back in a whole new way. Enter: second photo, 1990s reincarnate.  I felt so inspired I went out and got waist length micro box braids.
