As you may have guessed from the previous video posted, I've got quite the soft spot for the new kids on the block kickin it old school. I think it's real cool when present day artist take me through a musical time warp to the days of actual instruments and vocals. Yes the good ol' days prior to that killjoy autotuner thing (ew).
Mayer Hawthorne is one of those artists. Old school ways with a new school edge. Really dig him right now. And if you're in the Philadelphia area he'll be performing at the First Unitarian Church with Nikki Jean. Should be a good show.
