This weekend I traveled to upstate New York (15 miles shy of the Canadian border) to visit some family. While I was up there I spotted a Salvation Army. I was pleased to discover their prices were significantly lower than their other stores in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. I got this look for an attic sale bargain: Dress: 4.99 Mink Pill Box Hat: 2.99 Peacock Feathers: Found in my closet Shoes: (although they are not visible) Vintage 9west white ankle boots, 1.99
Above are some photos from Philadelphia University's Design X fashion show. The theme this year was "Wear Your Waste." The talented fashion design students were assigned the task of constructing garments from unconventional materials (trash bags, paper towels, ect.) The end result, stunning and innovative designs! Hope you enjoy!

So I bumped into this adorable girl at PhilaU party this Saturday. I really adored her style and the way she put together her look. When I asked her were she found these wonderful apparel items she told me Forever 21. Now for a while, I stopped shopping at Forever 21. Their styles weren't quite up to date or unique enough for my personal taste. But in the past few months they've truly stepped up there game and it has become the only store I will venture into a mall ( I hate malls by the way) to make a purchase from. Their website is even more wonderful because they always, always have the items you desire in stock. So check it out!
Lipstick has become a staple necessity in my life. If it were socially acceptable i'd probably wear it 24 hours a day; 7 days a week. It just adds such pizazz to a look. I really want to experiment and get into more crazy, vibrant colors for the spring/summer 09. Any brand/color suggestions? Let me know!
Stay shockingly good.
XoXo,
Soraya
I'll leave you with this wonderful video...
